Happy Birthday!Posted on August 26th, 2009 @ 4:54 pm
Pretend like it’s the end of July beginning of August…
Happy Birthday Jason and Charlotte! Jason’s birthday was on August 9th and his mom’s was on July 28th so we decided this year to celebrate their birthdays at the same time. We celebrated by going to dinner and then spent the night at Jason’s house playing the Wii and Cards. It was a great time. Jason and his mom kicked all our butts playing cards.
Funny story from the night, we ate at Los Hermanos and I guess in High School Jason got one of those T-Shirts that allow you to get a free “specialty drink” if you wear it during your visit (who knew) anyways when we showed up to the restaurant Jason’s mom had brought his shirt so we could get this free drink! (I can’t believe she had saved it all this time, we’re talking like 10 years…GO CHARLOTTE!)
Well, Jason put that old thing on and it did the trick. If you ever find yourself at Los Hermanos you have got to try the specialty drink with Prunes! I know you are thinking gross, and believe me I did too, but it is DELICIOUS!!

Smile, its your birthday!
(Jas and his mom)

I love him.

Happy B-Day!

Year Book Pictures!Posted on August 11th, 2009 @ 2:35 pm
A couple weeks ago Jason sent me something titled “yearbook pictures”. I opened the files and this is what I found…Halarious!
If we were born 40 years earlier this is what we would have looked like during the different stages of our lives.
I love getting little surprises like this!

Year 1966
Looks good! I would have been the classic 60′s kind of girl. Do you think I can bring this look back?

Year 1978
Ha! Love the part down the middle of my head. I look like all I care about is boys, rock and roll, and making sure my bell-bottoms are really wide.

Year 1990
Oh dear, something tragic happened to my look between the 60′s and the 90′s. We can all agree that the 90′s were not good to me! Was I trying to look like Tina Turner? “You’re simply the best!”

Year 2000
Classic, love that off the shoulder dress. I hate to say this, but this picture looks 1000 x’s better then my real graduation picture. Sad but true!

Year 1970
Hahah! How could he not be the coolest kid in school with those glasses and that hair!

Year 1972
Wow, in two years he really changed his look. With the part in his hair don’t you think this would have been his pre-mission photo?!

Year 1988
Well, it looks like he is back from his mission and ready to let loose! I love that mullet… business up front, party in the back!

Year 1996
Haha! I think his hair got caught in a tornado on the way to get his picture taken! Totally looks like it, right?!
I thought these were great and wanted to share. Hope you enjoyed them as much as I did!
